My teaching is not my own, but His who sent me.
He who speaks his own authority seeks his own
glory. But he who seeks the glory of the one who
sent him is truthful and there is no injustice in him.
Book of Saint John Chapter 7, verse 17 - 19 — 1962 Lecture

Energy x Know How = Results
The intelligent execution of directions is the
key to an organization’s success. This permits
the combined wisdom of all members of the
organization plus the total experience of the
organization to be reasonably utilized in the
know-how part of the equation.

Intelligently Follow Directions Of A Superior
To achieve the “intelligent following of a direc-
tion,” we must create an effective organization
with the accompanying relationships which
permit the transfer of counsel and direction
from superiors to subordinates. This results in
the creation of ranks and expresses a fundamen-
tal principal of scientific management; that is,
the division of labor and specialization.
