This permits the combined wisdom of all members of the organization plus the total experience of the organization to be reasonably utilized in the know-how part of the equation. IFDOAS Intelligently Follow Directions Of A Superior To achieve the “intelligent following of a direc- tion,” we must create an effective organization with the accompanying relationships which permit the transfer of counsel and direction from superiors to subordinates. This results in the creation of ranks and expresses a fundamen- tal principal of scientific management; that is, the division of labor and specialization.
