L.S., in center, traveled to Taiwan, Hong Kong and China as part of a trade delegation, 1983
L.S. created an environment so all of 
us who worked with him could have 
pride that we were “creating more 
value than we consumed”, and that 
we were “making the world work for 
everyone.”  There were more slogans, 
including two I will never forget, “the 
creation of true economic wealth” and 
“breaking out of the circular flow.”
L.S. was the bravest man I ever met.  
I simply never saw a braver man.
