SUBJECT Trip To Europe

From Audrey’s letter it sounds as if she were
trying to cook up a trip to Europe with you and that
perhaps it was not brewing properly because you felt
that your funds were not adequate to cover this and
other contingencies.

Mother, I would consider it a privilege to
supply the money so that you might go on this little
jaunt with a clear conscience. I can recall a good
many years in which you did this very thing for me.
It would seem fair that I return a part to you now.
Please do this now or when you feel like it & let
me pick up the costs.
                         Love, Leonard
P.S. We all would be very very happy to see you in
Phoenix anytime you can come the children would love
to get to know you. Remember you have (10) ten
grandchildren here and one duplicate (Sophia).
Dear Mother,
Leonard
