After his pension was stopped in 1988, “L.S.” downsized personal 
residences three times and cut his living costs dramatically.  To 
generate income from meager resources he purchased low-income 
residential properties at RTC auctions, successfully financing, reno-
vating, renting and selling them.  Simultaneously he courageously 
led the share case litigation against overwhelming odds, setting 
strategy, hiring counsel and giving us all strength.  Subsequently 
he established the Amerco Entrepreneurial Institute, the World 
Trade Center in Las Vegas, and won his pension lawsuit at the 
Nevada Supreme Court.
